'Guns Reloaded' is inspired by the legendary band 'Guns N' Roses' and can be called a tribute band. The members ' Ajay Nayak (vocal), Nikhil Bhosale (lead guitar), Pruthvi Khade (rhythm guitar), Sourabh Khade (bass) and Saurav Dutta AKA Machine (drum) ' came together in 2014. It was Nikhil's plan to form a tribute band and his vision took flight when he met Pruthvi and Sourabh.
One common factor that brought them together was their love for 'Guns N' Roses'. The search didn't end there, and the band was complete when they met
Ajay and Saurav.
On their a-ha moment: The band connects with their audience on a much larger level and that gives them a high, motivating them to come up with better music. Talking of their best moment, they say in unison, 'It was at one of our gigs and the crowd started singing to our rendition of 'Sweet Child of Mine'. There's no better feeling than being appreciated for your work. This assures us that we are on the right track.'
On their brand of music: 'We try to maintain the 80s hard rock feel by rock 'n' roll-driven stage performances, soul-crushing guitar solos, heart-thumping bass lines and never-ending drum solos,' says Ajay. Once in a while, the band experiments with genres like psy rock, reggae and new-age alternative rock without straying from their prime genre ' hard rock.
On their musical influences: Apart from their biggest inspiration, 'Guns N' Roses', the band also follows 'Bon Jovi', 'Aerosmith', 'AC/DC', 'Poison', 'Def Leopard' as well as some Indian acts like 'Soulmate', 'Thermal And A Quarter' and 'Junkyard Groove'.
On their way forward: The band is currently in process of strenuous jamming sessions and writing original material for their album, which focuses on songs based on their struggles of survival as budding musicians and also has shreds of nostalgic moments.
